Forklift Truck Driver
Working in partnership with Peel Logistics in Ellesmere Port are recruiting a reliable, hardworking Forklift Truck Driver. Shift pattern / Working hours.
12 hour shifts 7-7; days & nights. This role is on an as and when basis.
Start date / Duration.
Forklift Truck Driver positions assignments are starting immediately. This is on a temporary ongoing basis.
Job description
Forklift Truck Drivers are responsible for transporting heavy steel commodities from quayside to the warehouse.
Willing to complete general Port Operative duties such as; - Industrial cleaning: working in grain silos to ensure that all dust and debris is cleared. This includes working in confided spaces.
- Traffic marshalling
- Assist in weighbridge operations and recording and compiling other administrative information associated with cargo movement and cargo handling accessories as required.

The successful candidate:
Able to work 12-hour shifts (days and nights).
Committed, team player with a keen eye for quality.
Reliable with good timekeeping.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive and flexible attitude.
Hold a current B1, B2 or B3 Counterbalance licence.
Previous experience as a Counterbalance FLT, Forklift Truck driver is essential.
All our workers undergo initial assessment to working in a ports environment, this includes FLT /Fork lift truck assessments by our accredited trainers. We ensure you are fully knowledgeable of your environment as your first step to working within Ports
