Our client is an industry leading design and manufacturer of specialist niche products that are used in a variety of industries. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Electronic Design Manager looking for an opportunity to join a growing company with excellent opportunities for further growth.

Key responsibilities: -

* To deliver NPD Projects to time and cost targets.
*Create and foster a culture of openness, technical excellence, continuous improvement and learning.
*Utilise lean methodology to optimise all processes within DAE to ensure we are lean and efficient in all that we do.
*Ensure effective management and motivation of the Electronics Design team, including regular one to one meetings with direct reports to help clarify their objectives and the development opportunities available that align with the department and company objectives.
*Pro-actively liaise and collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and effective operation of the factory.
*To maintain standards of team performance; liasing and collaborating with HR as appropriate.
*Manage Electronics and Software workload, working with the Head of Engineering and the Engineering Leadership team to ensure the department can deliver priorities appropriately.
*Responsibility for Electronic Design processes, their improvement and preparation for audits.
*Absorb and collate differing amounts of product and customer information and turn it into a concise summary to allow issues to be easily understood and conveyed.
*Work with teams of all sizes to actively achieve a common goal, to pull together when challenges face the team and focus on solutions.
*Maintain a positive attitude when facing challenges, focus on understanding the problem and providing a solution.
*Communicate concisely and convey technical information in a simple, professional format with a range of stakeholders, including with customers.
*Be accountable for information and decisions, stay calm when challenged and push development boundaries.
*Proactively work to ensure departmental KPI's are achieved in all areas.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Essential:
*Degree or Equivalent in Electronics Based Discipline
*Extensive experience of managing multi discipline teams successfully
*Project Management Experience
*Ability to accurately assess key business metrics and situations from multiple perspectives
*Proven experience in inspiring and developing people
*Extensive Electronics design experience
*Proven experience working with software teams

Benefits Package:

*Salary:- GBP50,000. to GBP55,000 DOE
*Working Hours:-Monday to Friday Days (Flexible working hours)
*Holidays :- 27 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
