Full Job Description:
Our client based in Pershore is Europe's Leading Modular Retail Specialists. Market leading creators of providers of bespoke premier modular retail units and custom-made portable shops, with a wealth of established and high-profile customers across UK and Europe.
We are currently recruiting for a multi-skilled Modular Retail Unit Fitters to assist in the preparation and refurbishment of temporary kiosks, units and modular buildings prior to them being deployed to customers. The role will be varied and will require the candidate to be flexible in their work and be able to demonstrate the ability to think on their feet. The operation stores and prepares the units ready for short term or long-term rental, or for sale by refurbishing and modifying as required. There will be an occasional requirement to work off-site as dictated by workload.
The role is predominantly Monday to Friday. 8.30am - 4.30pm. GBP10-GBP11ph PAYE depending on experience.
Job Type:
This will for a temp to perm position. Following successful completion of this temporary role there is the opportunity for this to become a full-time position subject to the candidates work ethic and skill level and the ability to work in a team.
The role:
The work will be carried out at Head Office or our storage facility at Throckmorton. There is also a requirement to work away from home on occasions at different famous stadia or venues within the UK & Europe.
The role will include the following work to be carried out on a wide range of buildings:
Maintenance of units.
Full strip-out and reinstatement of internal walls, floors and ceilings.
Preparation, painting both interior and exterior paintwork.
Install UPVC doors, fit door locks and lay vinyl floor covering.
Other general maintenance, repair, assembly, and fitting work as required.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Previous experience in similar or relevant role is essential.
Wide range of fitting skills to carry out the above.
Self-motivated - requirement to work on your own and as part of a team.
You would need to have a willingness to learn, ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team, a flexible approach to working hours and able to work away from workshop when required.
Qualifications / Licence:
Essential requirement:
Driving licence.
Preferred but not essential:
CSCS Card.
