An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our busy Commercial function in Cambridge for an ambitious Assistant Commercial Manager. This role is positioned in the Military Aerospace (Mil-A) business unit and will focus on key Mil-A contracts to ensure Company commercial governance, compliance and control is adhered to. Critical activities will include contract drafting and negotiation and the management of change. Other tasks will include -
* Acting as customer point of contact for contractual & commercial matters
* Providing support to the Sales team, whilst being primarily responsible for reviewing and negotiating terms and conditions and managing all commercial/contractual aspects relating to specific bids and proposals
* Offering advice, assistance and guidance on a wide range of commercial matters to members of the Mil-A team including Project Directors, Project Managers & functional team members
* Collation of commercial data as required for bids and projects (management briefings, reporting and information)
* Encouragement of good industry standard practice and self-assessment of quality and accuracy of commercial work
