Do you consider yourself to be a hands-on effective Production Leader/ Team Leader/Supervisor?
Do you come from a FMCG Manufacturing Background?
Are you skilled in joinery, carpentry, fitting, assembly, plumbing or first/second fix?
Manpower are currently engaged supporting one of our prestigious National/Global clients based in Scunthorpe, whom are market leaders in their industry and following continued growth and investment across their service offerings and sites nationally, they are looking to strengthen their Managerial teams on the shop floor permanently with individuals whom will be an asset to the business and help work with them to achieve maximum output through the right optimisation and drive.
Your role will involve the day to day leading of your team (22 heads) on the shop floor, by leading from the front in a hands on role. As you'd expect it requires all the bells and whistles that comes along with a TL/Supervisory role in a busy, fast-paced production environment. You'll be an effective communicator at all levels and understand the importance of knowing your teams strengths and weaknesses and how best to engage and encourage them to ensure quality standards are met and work is completed on time. You will H&S conscious/aware and if you happen to have your IOSH - that's an added bonus! We've said this is a hands on role so we are looking to hear from individuals who are equally skilled with hands/power tools.
