Role & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for;
* Site-based supervising projects up to the value of GBP3 million
* Assisting the Project Managers to ensure that the projects are completed safely, on time, to budget and to the highest standard of workmanship.
* Overseeing the activities and performance of employees, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
* Daily site control
* There will be requirements to carry out skilled and unskilled labouring task as part of the role.
Candidate
To be considered for this position the candidate should ideally;
* Hold a current SSSTS qualification / SMSTS preferred.
* Full First Aid at Work Certificate.
* Have a high level of Health & Safety Awareness
* Have strong Communication Skills
* Driving licence and own transport is essential.
Requirements:
* Time served.
* Experience in reading drawings & written instructions.
* Ability to use problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
* To be able to work independently or as part of a team.
