We are recruiting an experienced Bar Manager on behalf of Harrison Spinks Events to work at a beautiful venue in the heart of the Yorkshire countryside. Once a generations old family farm, The Oakwood at Ryther has been lovingly and stylistically transformed into a breathtaking venue, offering two stunning barns, luxury accommodation for up to 32 people, and beautiful manicured grounds.
The venue is mainly used for Weddings and special occasions (e.g. birthdays.)
This is a full time role. Exact hours will vary but you will definitely have to work Thursday and Saturday evenings and some Tuesday evenings when they have weddings.
Main responsibilities:
Run the bar
Serve guests
Deal with any issues
Plan the staff rotas
Manage bar stock (re-ordering etc.)
About you:
Experienced bar manager
Must have managed a team before
Excellent customer service skills
Own transport is essential due to location (there is no public transport)Salary: GBP25,000 per annum
