Role: Maintenance Engineer
Salary: GBP32,000 to GBP35,000 per annum
Hours: 4 on 4 off, rotation of days and nights
Location: Commutable from Fareham, Southampton, Ringwood, Winchester, Eastleigh, Ringwood, Portsmouth and surrounding areas

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to work within a large industrial company at one of their leading and new automated factories. You will benefit from a friendly and loyal team of Engineers working in this fast faced environment. Working within this large company you will have opportunities to progress your career, up-skill and gain further qualifications - should this interest you.
Responsibilities
Maintenance Engineers are required to Multi Skill, and therefore cover both Mechanical and Electrical work. Although we appreciate there are limitations to what you can do and would ask for applications to come from those who consider themselves to be 80/20 split and/or better. Or those who are electrical and willing to learn mechanical skills, this will also be considered. It is a modern environment with new machines and need Engineers to help communicate problems and issues with a view of making improvements to help make the plant run more smoothly.
Production machinery runs from 7am until 11pm, and the shift pattern listed provides Engineers to work re-actively during the days combating breakdowns, and in the evening (night shift), working through planned preventative maintenance and project work.
Requirements
Maintenance or Service background in a similar environment
Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship or hold an engineering qualification
Some/any of the following experience; 3 phase, star / delta motors, sensors, belts, bearings, chains, boilers, inverters, relays, contactors, 3 phase, PLC's, pneumatics, hydraulics etc.
Good fault-finding skills
Experience of working in a similar industrial or manufacturing environment
Friendly and adaptable working attitude
Proactive work attitude and keen to get your hands dirty
