M&E Quantity Surveyor
AVK are the UK's leading provider of critical power systems and maintenance that guarantee your power. For over 30 years we've been supplying UPS systems and standby diesel generators providing our clients with reliable back-up power solutions for their mission critical services & systems.
Due to our continued growth and expansion we have an opportunity for an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to work alongside our Sales and Projects teams supporting in the commercial aspects of our business.
As the successful candidate you will ideally be from an M&E background and or have worked as a Project Quantity Surveyor. You will work at all levels from end client through to our sub-contractor supply chain ensuring risk reduction on terms and conditions, cash flow on projects and final account payments.
To be considered for the role you will:
* Have a minimum of 5 - 10 years' experience as Quantity Surveyor
* An HNC / HND degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management
* Excellent interpersonal skills both face to face and over the telephone
* Strong numeracy and financial management skills
* Cost planning skills and experience of successful project delivery on or under agreed budgeted cost
* Professional membership of the RICS, A Cost. E or CIOB preferred but not essential
* A full driving licence
