Grounds Maintenance Team Leader / Operatives

Cropper Grounds Maintenance are currently recruiting various roles and positions throughout the company including that of Grounds Maintenance Team Leader and Grounds Maintenance Operatives.  Based in Stoke-on-Trent, your duties will include grass cutting, strimming, hedge cutting, shrub pruning and other horticultural/grounds maintenance activities as required on client sites.

The hours of work per week will be approximately 39 hours (Monday to Friday) although Saturdays and Overtime are available throughout the year.  

Our clients include Schools, Police Stations, NHS Centres, Housing Associations and businesses - An enhanced DBS check will be conducted on all successful candidates.

The ability to drive a vehicle is required for the Team Leader position but not essential for the Grounds Maintenance Operative positions.

The successful candidates will need to have good communication skills and have the ability to work both individually and within a team environment.  Excellent Time Keeping and attendance will be needed for both positions.  Flexibility and a positive work ethic are some of the skills we will also be looking for.
