We are currently working with a reputable, specialist care provider in West Yorkshire who are looking for a proven CQC Manager, to run their purpose built Mental Health recovery service. Service Manager - Keys responsibilities

Responsible for the day to day management of the Service, including operational and clinical duties.

Supervision, coaching and performance management for the operational team.

Responding to referrals and undertaking initial assessments to ensure healthy occupancy levels within the service.

Ensuring there are clear goals and expected outcomes for each resident with a defined move-on plan pathway towards greater independence.

Co-ordinating a programme of regular person-centred reviews which put each person's views and if possible unique recovery journey at the heart of planning and decision making.

Maintaining high standards of environmental safety/quality and ensuring a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere.

Facilitate service user engagement, involvement and peer support.

Continuous keeping up to date with legislation and ensuring staff are appropriately experienced and trained for their roles.

Service Manager - Key Skills

Must have recognised qualification in nursing or social care and have a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent).

Excellent understanding of legislative changes that can affect the operation of the business / service - CQC compliance and implement systems and procedures that monitor, maintain, challenge and improve standards.

Strong care background and an inclusive leadership style.

Strong understanding of Mental Health and learning Disability needs.

Excellent communication skills.

Commercially strong with good business development or referrals and assessments experience.

IT literate and experience with Electronic systems would be desirable.
