Raw Materials Coordinator - Doncaster - Competitive Salary
Chase & Holland are excited to be working exclusively with a dynamic and fast-growing family owned business in Doncaster who are looking to recruit a Raw Materials Coordinator to join their team.
This newly created role has become available due to the rapid expansion of the business.
As Raw Materials Coordinator you will be working closely with various overseas suppliers to ensure a steady flow of raw materials for the manufacturing process. The business currently operates across multiple UK sites with plans to expand into Europe next year, so it is a great opportunity to get involved and be a key player in the business's future success.
Raw Materials Coordinator Responsibilities:
Collecting raw material stock data comprising of over 200 SKUs
Analysing raw material usage data including wastage
Analysing supplier efficiency and capacity
Ordering/re-ordering stock from approved suppliers
Co-ordinating overseas quay side stock, UK quay side stock and production stock
Co-ordinating logistics/transportation of raw material from supply points throughout the UK and Europe to manufacturing plants within the UK
Dealing with importation documents
Delivery notes
Ensuring that payment of raw material invoices are approved
Supporting and working with our procurement managerRequired Skills & Experience:
An experienced procurement professional (timber industry desirable)
Highly organised
Dynamic
Hands-on - not frightened of getting hands dirty
Multi-lingual (desirable)
Strong MS excel skillsIn Return You'll Receive:
