An opportunity has arisen for an INTERMEDIATE ELECTRICAL ENGINEER to join a reputable MEP consultancy business, as an Electrical Design Engineer / aspiring Project Engineer, at an extremely exciting time of growth and expansion.
ROLE: ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER - BUILDING SERVICES
LOCATION: Office based in Banbridge, Northern Ireland. You may be looking for Electrical Engineer jobs in Banbridge, County Down, Downpatrick, Saintfield, Castlewellan, Ballynahinch, Newry, Armagh, Portadown, Dungannon, Lurgan, Lisburn, Belfast, Northern Ireland or Republic of Ireland. Driving licence required for site visits.
SALARY: GBP30,000 - GBP34,000 plus company package, benefits, pension, 4- 5 weeks holiday.
HOURS: Permanent, Full time. Monday- Friday. 37.5hrs per week.
Joining the MEP Design team, as Electrical Engineer, you will be fully supported by the Senior Design Engineer and Director, you will be expected to carry out and complete the design work on Electrical systems and building services such as lighting, security systems, access control systems, fire alarm systems.
* Producing Electrical Design information at pre-tender stage.
* Solving on-site M&E issues, providing design solutions.
* Adhering to the company H&S policy, current regulations & client requirements.
* This role has elements of project management support to the electrical team.
As an Electrical Design Engineer / Electrical Engineer, you will have at least 1-2 years' electrical engineering experience in a similar electrical building services design environment, coordinating building services and technical design solutions to electrical installations.
You will have an HND/ Degree in Building Services / Architectural Engineering / Energy Management / Architectural Technology / Electrical Engineering or similar discipline. You will be proficient in Microsoft Office, Electrical Calculation Software and AutoCAD to produce accurate Electrical CAD Design drawings.
Your background is likely to be in Building Services, Environmental Engineering Consulting.
