Streetworks Coordinator
Our client, who are leading within their field and well established, are looking to recruit a Streetworks Coordinator, with utilities/construction experience, to assist the business support function of their Energy contract.
You will be a part of the planning hub where you will be responsible for providing critical streetworks noticing for planned and reactive utilities work. The ideal candidate will have great organisational skills, computer literacy and have your excellent customer service.
Streetworks Coordinator Key Responsibilities:
Ensure all works are planned in and communicated to the individual teams
Manage all aspects of Streetworks noticing and or permitting
Open and Close proposed and in progress notices
Liaise with local highway authorities regarding early starts and notice extensions
Submit applications for new notices, traffic light applications and Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders (TTRO) footway/road closures
Liaise with client Streetworks team and ensure regular and accurate flow of information is maintained
Communicate effectively with site personnel and ensure that they are updated with notice closure dates
Ensure that all works sent out comply with the Safety Code of Practice, New Roads and Streetworks Act (NRSWA), Traffic Management Act (TMA) and Specification for the Reinstatement of Openings in Highways (SROH)
Streetworks Key Skills:
Strong Administration experience
Good knowledge of the New Roads and Streetworks (NRSWA) and Traffic Management Act (TMA).
Good communication skills
Attention to detail
Ability to Prioritise
Good Time Management
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to work as part of a team
