Zzoomm sets you free to work, play and learn in the way and at the pace you want. Zzoomm does this by running a Full-Fibre connection right into your home or business. This lets you choose the performance, the speed, that suits you and what you, your family and colleagues want to do with the Zzoomm connection.

How you will help us to make Zzoomm awesome ..

You will be responsible for the acquisition and negotiation of Network Access Agreements and Wayleaves , enabling the build team to deliver FTTP (Fibre To The Premises) projects. We will need you to communicate with freeholders, grantors and sometimes their agents. You will secure Network Access Agreements with as few modifications to the design or changes to our standard documentation as possible, coordinating with grantors and our build/service delivery teams to ensure the customers installations are straightforward for the teams and as per the Network Access Agreement or Wayleave.

You will be a key Zzoomm representative in your communications with people affected by our network build and we will rely on you to develop strong, positive relationships on our behalf.

Who will guide me ..?

You will report to the Wayleave Team Leader on a daily basis and be a key member of his/her team. You will be working closely with the Network Planning Team and Installations Supervisor to ensure correct permissions are secured and wayleaves are granted prior to Network build/Installation commencing.

You will find that Zzoomm adopts a very open operational style and so you will have access to every area of the organisation and will have the opportunity to participate in broad cross-functional discussions around how to get the best results for the Business.

The role can be based either in Crewe or Cannock with some required travelling between the areas.

A day in the life of the Wayleave Officer ..

* You will be actively engaged in identifying owners of land and buildings from whom we need to obtain permission to access their property to build or extend our network.

* You will be using land registry and local authority information to establish who the relevant landowners and grantors are and applying to them for permission in the most effective way possible. You might be speaking to relevant parties on the telephone, arranging site visits and sending information by post or e-mail to facilitate the process. You will be tracking progress and actively pushing to ensure that permissions are obtained in time for our build programme to keep on track (without putting anybody's back up!)

* You will be the face of Zzoomm and ultimately your role is to facilitate customers getting our service, so if you can secure an order whilst negotiating a wayleave, even better. As Zzoomm Is a start-up Company, there will be a need for all employees to be prepared to work flexibly from time to time to get things done. We will all succeed by working as team and with every Individual contributing their skills and experience as needed.

What we need you to have ..

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

* Strong negotiation and influencing skills

* IT Systems competency, including Microsoft Office applications and other Management information Systems associated with managing Network Access Agreements

* A basic understanding of statutory and environmental constraints associated with broadband network construction and have a willingness to develop into being fully conversant with the relevant legislation. (Training will be provided)

You'll know how to ..

* Interpret drawings and plan to extract relevant information

* Interrogate land registry and other information sources to establish land or property ownership

* Communicate with interested parties using standard templates and/or drafting appropriately worded ancillary correspondence to progress access agreement applications

* Escalate issues as they arise to ensure action is taken

Our teams will say you're ..

* Reliable

* Helpful

* Professional

* Open and collaborative

* Clear and concise communicator
