Warehouse Operative
LOCATION: Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire
THE COMPANY: Our client is a dynamic and fast moving national distribution company supplying the kitchen industry with the highest quality products.
They're looking to appoint motivated Warehouse Operatives to join a leading kitchen, bedroom and appliance distribution business based at our head office in Newport Pagnell.
THE ROLE: The purpose of this role is to assist in a wide variety of warehouse duties that include, goods receiving, picking, despatch and general housekeeping.
Key Responsibilities for the Warehouse Operative to include:-
To ensure the accurate processing of product received as goods inwards
To ensure the quality and accuracy of product picked for despatch
To assist with the loading of orders onto company's own, customers and suppliers vehicles
To perform general warehouse housekeeping and stocktaking tasks
To comply with safety and other applicable policies, procedures, laws, rules and regulations
Understand and adhere to Company policy and procedure
Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team
To be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work
To maintain high work standards to achieve targets and standards set out by the Leading Hands/Supervisors
THE CANDIDATE: Candidates applying for this opportunity must have previous experience of working in a busy Warehousing environment. This is a key role in the on-going success of the business and will offer substantial job satisfaction to the successful candidate.
Key experience essential for the Warehouse Operative based in Newport Pagnell:
Ideally will have previous experience working similar role
Will live within a commutable distance of Newport Pagnell
A forklift licence would be desirable but not essential as full training can be given
