Job Title: Quality Technician (Process)
Pay Rate: GBP22,000 basic with shift allowance GBP6,600 - GBP28,6000 (Rising after 3 months)
Hours: 12 hr shift rotation working 5 over 7
Location: Hull
Contract: Permanent
Start Date: ASAP
OVERVIEW:
Our client is a leader in its given field in the UK producing high quality industrial chemicals for a wide range of usage across the globe
Due to growth they are currently looking for two Quality Technician to join their existing team in Hull. This role offers a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.
The main purpose of the role is to Issue instructions to produce finished and semi-finished products according to the production schedule requirements. Conduct testing and give approval of material for packing as finished goods. Where necessary, give instructions to modify material to bring it into specification.
Your duties will include:
* Ensure work area is always safety compliant
* Ensure work area meets technical requirements
* Issue blend and packing instructions in line with requirements of the production schedule
* Test against required specifications
* Identify blend corrections to bring product into specification
* Complete testing of process material and take effective action to rectify issues identified
* Keep accurate records to allow information and archived samples to be used effectively for customer complaints
