Machine Operator - 4 days per week

JRS are looking for a Machine Operator to come and work for their client in Aldershot on an ongoing basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful manufacturing company with the opportunity to develop.
We are recruiting for a day shift position therefore successful candidates must be able to work 4 days a week Monday to Thursday 7.30am - 6pm with a 30 minute lunch break. You will then have every Friday off
As a Machine Operator you will be working on the shop floor, running machinery to production orders. Loading of raw material into machine and unloading, quality checking and packaging of finished product.
Duties to include (but not limited to):
* Operating of machinery
* Working to production order to ensure specified product is produced to the correct quality and amount
* Reading of product order and quality checking of final product once manufactured
* Updating production order and notifying of quality/quantity made
* Working to specific timeframes
* Updating relevant documentation
* cleaning of machine and work station as required
Required Skills
* Previous experience of working within a manufacturing/production environment a distinct advantage
* Ability to work read instructions
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to work alone
Benefits included
* Hourly rate of GBP9.10 per hour working a 40 hour week
* Monday to Thursday position - EVERY FRIDAY OFF
