Due to growth we need a PR Campaign Manager, so this could be an individual from an agency or client side background looking to take a step up from PR Account Manager or doing a similar role like PR Manager currently.
Main Responsibilities
* Lead on priority clients, e.g. larger budgets.
* Oversee client and internal communications on these clients where necessary.
* Oversee client campaigns at every stage (sense check/proofing and editing).
* Assist with organisation and time-planning for the team.
* Assess client prioritisation based on spend, issues, renewals, changes to contract, etc.
* Ensure progress of campaigns against deadlines and internal benchmarking.
* Campaign management (campaign planning, idea generation, promotion).
* Track client performance and report on this.
* Produce professional reports and document campaigns for clients.
* Use learnings from reports to shape ongoing work & future strategies.
* Involved in pitching for new business and developing/costing PR proposals.
* Awareness of client commercials - spend vs. results.
* A passion for the media and a hunger for results.
* Strong press release writing skills, setting a standard for other team members.
Skills & Experience
* Proven campaign successes on clients that you are involved in
* Proven retention of revenue for clients that you have worked with
* Experience of working across a wide variety of niches
* Consistently hit targets and exceed expectations
* Proactive, highly organised with exceptional time management skills
* Excellent internal and client facing communication skills
* Strong understanding of media themes and is able to identify content and stories that journalists will be interested in
* Experienced in creating meeting slides
* Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* An understanding of common SEO metrics
* Knowledge of Google Analytics and link building strategies
* Experienced in writing client-friendly content to a level where amends are not necessary.
