What you'll be doing as an IT Manager
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of IT within the company. We are looking for a confident, hands-on IT Manager to help drive our vision forward.
*
Manage service providers, including telecoms, software and security;
*
Offer Internal support by responding to support tickets, finding solutions to reported problems and manage implementation of corrective actions;
*
Monitoring and maintaining SQL Server and company equipment which will include regular system security and stability audit;
*
Maintain and work within our IT Policies and develop system documentation to ensure the smooth running of the department;
*
Work with all departments within the company, offering training and support users in the use of our computer and telephone systems;
*
Have regular interaction with the Directors to discuss the long and short term technology needs of the company, identifying opportunities for improvement to our services, regulatory compliance and the reduction in vulnerabilities;
*
Work closely with our Purchasing Department on hardware and software requirements.
This IT Manager role is for you if you:
*
High level of attention to detail;
*
An energetic mindset, looking to develop yourself and others whilst improving what we deliver for our customers;
*
Ability to time manage multiple tasks, projects and priorities;
*
Ability to communicate with staff at all levels;
*
Experience installing, setting up and maintaining servers and PCs (Server 2008 onwards and Windows 7 onwards);
*
GSuite administration and support;
*
Active Directory, Group Policy and Domain management;
*
Network equipment and wiring installation, with experience in troubleshooting and repairing issues with network cables;
*
Live within 45 minutes of Aldershot
Desirable Experience for the IT Manager:
*
Sage 200;
*
UniFi Networks;
*
Microsoft Office Suite;
*
Microsoft SQL Server 2008;
*
Deployment and management of virtual machines;
*
OVPN and remote desktop support.
Salary GBP45,000
