Stores / Yard Coordinator

Rapid Rail GB Limited are International Specialists in the Supply, Manufacture and Installation of Crane Rail Systems based within Gloucestershire.

We currently have an exciting part time opportunity for a highly efficient, enthusiastic and reliable individual to join us working within our Stores reporting to the Contracts managers. This is very much a hands-on and physical role where you will be working on your own initiative 80% of the time. Self-motivation is a must. This is a great opportunity to join an established but growing company with fantastic prospects for the right candidate.

You will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

• Stock ordering/purchasing using sage.
• Unloading, loading materials /deliveries Forklift.
• Ensuring tools/lifting equipment are kept within certification (Training Provided)
• Organising and maintenance of equipment, fleet, tools.
• Making site deliveries if required (Full clean driving licence required).
• Loading tools/equipment for upcoming jobs.
• Packing and despatch of sales/ deliveries.
• General stores housekeeping.
• General maintenance stores and offices.
• Keeping all administration and files updated.

Requirements:

• Experience in a similar position.
• Good standard of education.
• Excellent organisational and administration skills.
• Methodical and logical in your approach to challenges.
• Experience of Microsoft IT packages and experience of Excel.
• Experience in sage is preferred but not essential as training will be given.
• Counterbalance Forklift License- experience essential -updated training will be given.
• Working on own initiative is a must.
• Knowledge of power tool repair desirable but not essential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must have a Full clean UK driving licence.

We offer 25 days holiday to be agreed with working pattern, pension scheme, further training and progression with excellent working conditions.

Start date: June 2021.

Salary: £11p/h with the option of overtime if available.

Contract: Permanent, subject to a satisfactory probationary period.

Hours: 25 hours per week Monday to Friday hours to be agreed between 8.00am-4.30pm
