Administration / Despatch Person

Permanent post starting immediately

Hours: 32.0 Hours / week. Monday to Thursday – 10.00am to 5.30pm / Friday 10.00am to 5.00pm. 1 hour lunch break between 12 and 1pm.

Gross pay: £10.00 per hour which equates to £1386.67 per month.

Other benefits: Company Pension Scheme / BHSF Cash health scheme / Company bonus schemes.

Holidays: 28 days including bank holidays (pro-rata), plus the period between Christmas and new year.

Qualifications / Experience: training will be provided.

Job Description

A typical week includes:

a) 2 days on general admin / accounting duties.

b) 3 days booking out deliveries using our despatch software, Sage and other courier software.

c) Producing documentation for these orders using Sage and Adobe PDF Editor / writer.

d) This can be fast paced, especially as the afternoon progresses hence you need to be quick on a computer.

e) You need to be meticulous in checking information and be reliable and motivated.

The software you will be using includes Windows 10, Word, Excel, Outlook, Sage, Adobe PDF Writer, Courier Despatch software via a web browser, Our own Despatch software via a web browser.
