OVERALL PURPOSE:

* The Technical Manager - Commercial Products is a product champion for Bosch commercial products and general specialist in commercial heating, heat networks and renewable heating solutions.

* In depth understanding of the Bosch commercial products, knowing in detail the technical aspects and installation requirements, being able to compare the products of key competitors.

* Proactively support and develop the technical understanding of sales, training, tech-services, product management and specialist service engineers, offering support as and when needed.

* Key responsibility to assist the sales team with the selection, specification and sale of the correct product offering for individual projects. Progress quotation requests within the CRM system to meet the key target turnaround times, when necessary. Offer system design advice based on their experience.

* Support the introduction of new products and accessories through the Time To Market (TTM) process, acting as the key technical representative. Liaise with technical counterparts in the manufacturing plants and cultivate strong technical relationships.

* Maintain good understanding of current legislation and standards affecting the installation of key heating products.
