Our client, one of Gloucestershires most successful refrigeration and air conditioning businesses, is looking to recruit a talented Mechanical Services Design Engineer / Projects Engineer, to join their talented team of professionals. This role would be perfect for an individual who is looking for an opportunity to progress their career with a reputable employer.
As the candidate of choice you will deliver turnkey projects in a fast paced high-pressure environment, on time and within budget. Your previous heating & ventilation design and project management experience would allow you to create the most efficient and effective installation solutions for the project team. Your primary responsibilities will include, but is not limited to producing drawings (2D AutoCAD), preparing estimates, budget control, material procurement, site & labour management.
To be considered for this role, candidates must be able to demonstrate previous success, delivering complex projects on time and within budget. You will have working knowledge of heating and cooling loads, ventilation flow rates, duct sizing, grille and louvre specification, pipe sizing, radiator sizing, Boiler sizing and pump specification, simultaneous demand for water services, drainage design, etc. In addition to your practical mechanical services experience, you will be HNC/degree Mechanical Building Services qualified with a natural aptitude for learning and continuous improvement.
