My client, a market leading Arboricultural Consultancy, is seeking a Graduate Arboricultural Consultant to join the team to support their business activities.
The successful candidate will be friendly, be able to manage their own time and will work with a variety of landowners from domestic scale, through to major infrastructure projects across the UK. This is a primarily home-based opportunity, with some office-based work from time-to-time, based in Halifax.
The Role:
This exciting role offers you the chance to be trained by a supportive and experienced team which offers unlimited professional development. You will be carrying out tree surveys, site surveys, amongst others. You will complete projects, mainly across Kent.
The successful candidate will:
Be trained how to effectively and safely implement environmental surveys for mainly trees.
Be trained how to undertake Arboricultural Impact Assessments.
Be trained how to undertake Tree Surveys.
Key Skills:
The successful candidate will:
Hold a degree in a relevant discipline related to arboriculture (or Foundation degree in Arboriculture level 5), urban forestry or Middlesex University's Arboriculture & Community Forestry Management or Resource Management (Arboriculture) ideal - Level 6 Diploma in Arboriculture, or Arboriculture & Forestry Level 3 Extended Diploma are also considered.
Understand AutoCAD (ideally) - some experience would be excellent.
Ideally have some experience of Arboricultural Impact Assessments.
Have an interest in Botony/Arboriculture.
