Job Purpose

As a leading anti pressure care manufacturing company, we are looking for a Fabric Cutter to join our family business in Keighley.

As a Fabric Cutter, you will be required to set out patterns, cut fabrics and receive, handle, store and pick fabric from the warehouse.

Responsibilities:

* Setting out patterns from designs

* Cutting patterns from a variety of fabrics including PVC, PU and cotton

* Pick, receive, handle and store fabric in the warehouse

* Maintain and organise fabric within the warehouse

* Work as part of a team

* Problem solve day to day operational challenges to achieve high quality products

* Maintain a safe work environment adhering to company policies and legal regulations

Personal Specification:

Experience:

* Experience as a fabric cutter and with Gerber and Assist Bullmer tables and software would be desirable. However, we would be open to accepting applications from less experienced applicants, if they had the right work ethos and a high level of motivation and enthusiasm.

* Ability to work unsupervised and present work ready for sewing in bulk quantities and for special one off products

* Good knowledge of warehouse procedures and policies

* Ability to multi task

* Effective team worker with good communication skills

* Good attention to detail as accuracy is essential

* Efficient, with good time keeping and sickness record

* Driving licence and willingness to drive/complete deliveries

* Basic computer skills

* Ability to be flexible and dedicated in an innovative and expanding company

* Location: Keighley, West Yorkshire

* Hours: Monday - Friday, 08h00 - 17h00
