Acorn Recruitment is searching for Warehouse Despatch Operator to join our client, a manufacturing company based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire working a 4 on 4 off day shift pattern.
On completion of training, the purpose of the role is to ensure goods are despatched in the right quantity and meet high quality standards.
Duties will include:
- Communicate with planning raw material allocation
- Raw material daily stock scan and stock split.
- Move raw materials to production area and back to stock when necessary
- Precisely follow allocation sheets, picking and scanning goods
- Follow stock controller instructions and procedures, replenishing stock and ensuring product rotation.
- Conduct Forklift Truck start up checks.
- Loading and unloading lorries.
- Completion of necessary paperwork to required standard
- Report any equipment defects or problems
- Co-operate with employer and others in meeting statutory requirements
- To adhere to manual handling procedures at all times
- To adhere to all Health and Safety Policies and procedures
- Assist Team Leader on daily basis
- Other duties as requested by Manager or Supervisor
The successful applicant must have solid experience in a similar role within a busy warehouse environment. FLT Licence essential.
Hours of work are 4 days on, 6am - 6pm, 4 days off
Salary - GBP9.82per hour
