Due to continued organic growth our dynamic private sector client has created a new HR generalist position within their team. This position is a full-time opportunity based in our clients modern Cwmbran office. This role offers a competitive salary of up to GBP40000, annual bonus, company pension scheme, 34 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays) and free parking, as well as development and growth opportunities.
As the HR Generalist you will report into the Head of People:

You will work to promote an inclusive and open working culture.
Act as the main point of contact for HR queries and support managers predominantly in the UK and Europe.
Work to continuously improve and update HR policies and procedures.
Lead and support on HR projects supporting growth, succession planning, wellbeing, and employee engagement)
Manage low volume ER cases (disciplinaries, grievances and appeals)
Manage employee life cycle inclusive of recruitment, onboarding, and induction.
Support in the development and upskilling of managers. The ideal candidate for this role will:

Have a CIPD qualification or similar.
Be adaptable to changing priorities.
Have flexibility to travel to the sister site once a month.
Be comfortable holding virtual meetings and building relationships face to face.
Enjoy working in a site-based role.
Possess sound knowledge of UK Employment Law
Possess some knowledge of European employment law (not essential) or have worked in a European business (not essential) Additional pay:
