A Legal Cashier is required to join a leading Law Firm based Altrincham, Cheshire on a full time permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a highly regarded firm in a dynamic accounts team with a large focus on property transactions.
The Legal Cashier role will include;
o Check completion packs produced by the legal departments to ensure that all
elements of the transaction are accounted for correctly with supporting
documentation and authorization where required.
o Deal with queries from and highlight issues to Fee Earners
o Monitor bank software to identify and process incoming funds
o Process Electronic payments on banking software
o Billing
o Entry of the above transactions onto the accounting system
o Entry of Invoices on to the Purchase Ledger ensuring proper analysis and
authorization
o Posting Direct Debits
o Dealing with Supplier Queries and statements
o Obtaining Copy Invoices where required
o Making payment runs and one off payments as required
It is essential that you have previous experience working as a Legal Cashier, you will need a minimum of 2 years to be considered for this vacancy. You should have a full understanding of the below;
?? Bank Reconciliations
?? Bacs Payments
?? Inter Account Transfers
?? Banking
?? Posting/Uploading Disbursements
?? Cheque production
?? Processing Nominal Invoices including
