A Day in the Life

We offer you a position which plays a vital role in designing, implementing and tracking the marketing plan for the CDS business across the UK, Ire & Nordics region. This role will also have a strong focus on facilitating product launches, competitive campaigns, market development campaigns and acting as the main point of contact for the EMEA marketing team. Customer Marketing Managerwill be responsible for marketing activities related to both the CRM and CDS teams within the region. To supervise the CDS regional product manger. Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and defining the yearly national marketing plan
  • Managing market models
  • Analysing market size, competitive market landscape and other information from all sources and developing strategies to increase adoption of Medtronic diagnostics technologies and services
  • Ensuring the implementation of promotional / sales programs in conjunction with marketing communication, education, clinical and training, practice enhancement, and reimbursement.
  • Allocating and utilizing Medtronic resources in the most effective way, according to the strategy, opportunities and risks, coverage, workload of employees etc. in the district.
  • Building strong and lasting relationships with key decision makers at both national and regional levels within established and new markets, both within primary and secondary care.
  • Coordinating and liaising with CRM and CDS field teams to ensure marketing activities are aligned to the regional/districts growth strategies
  • Developing good working relationships with our reimbursement, Health Economic and IHS colleagues in order to leverage their skill sets to support development activities.
  • Providing business and field input in country-specific initiatives and actively participates in and supports the implementation of initiatives and strategic programs.
  • Developing and maintaining activity tracking tools that demonstrate the impact of the marketing team.
  • Using Medtronic's HR tools to identify, attract and grow human talent in order to build a strong, performance driven team.
  • Monitoring progression of results on an individual and team level.
  • Coaching and energizing incumbents in a constructive way.
  • Training and educating incumbents on Medtronic strategies, Business models, Mission, tools and processes.
  • Reporting all market, account, and competitive information and trends in a complete and timely fashion, being proactive to maximize any Medtronic opportunity.
  • Carrying out all administrative duties and all necessary reports in a timely and diligent manner.

Must Haves

  • Graduate or similar health care qualification
  • NHS knowledge
  • 3+ year's medical device experience
  • 2+ years in marketing
  • Digital Marketing experience
  • Managing product launches
  • Cross market working experience
  • Market development activities
  • KOL Management
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Project management capabilities
  • Ability to prioritize in a busy environment
  • Good level of demonstrable intellect with the ability to gain knowledge and understanding quickly
  • Methodical & accurate
  • Good communications skills (written & verbal)
  • Familiarity with implantable devices.
  • Proven success in developing markets and therapies
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated
  • Flexible & able to work on own initiative
  • Good Team Player
  • Must be prepared to travel and stay away overnight
