Job Title and Grade: Community Manager

Location: Temp Remote / Breakspear Park, Breakspear Way, Hemel Hempstead, HP2 4UL - Due to COVID-19 you will initially be required to work from home, but with a view to become more office based once restrictions are lifted.

Hours: 22.5 Hours

Pay: GBP24,000 - GBP30,000 per annum pro rata

We are looking for a Community Manager with a passion for building and engaging communities to help support and develop our member engagement marketing strategy. Our member community is the very heart of our business and we are looking for somebody to be the voice of NHS Professionals, being informative and helpful to support our members.

Role summary:

You will be primarily responsible for launching and growing our online members community, representing, supporting and being the voice of the company for our members within the communities. You will be passionate about providing frequent content, through news, articles, videos and more to spark discussions in the community and drive engagement. You will also be responsible for moderating and responding to customers queries in a timely manner.

Reporting into the Strategic Marketing Manager, this role will not only plan, coordinate, execute NSHP's marketing activity across online communities but also ensure you identify areas for improvement based on members feedback.

  • Producing engaging digital content to spark conversations, including driving campaign messaging
  • Monitor and report member feedback including potential PR issues
  • Continue to look for areas of improvement and bring back findings to the wider business.
  • Being the voice of NHSP amongst the community, moderating and responding to comments and customer queries in a timely manner
  • Coordinating with the Strategic Marketing Managers and the Bank Member Engagement team to ensure content is aligned
  • Identify potential influencers/brand advocates within the community and building relationships
  • Staying up to date with the latest trends and technology

About The Candidate

Skills/Responsibilities:

To apply for this post, we simply ask that you will be passionate about creating content within communities and eager to grow within the team, and you will have:

  • A-level qualified or equivalent level of experience.
  • Excellent MS Office 2010 and earlier - skills MUST include excellent proficiency of PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Previous experience working within a similar role.
  • Experience using HTML, content management systems, email, search and digital marketing.
  • Excellent copywriting skills and experience creating interactive content.
  • Able to work autonomously, self-manage and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment and ale to 'get things done' against deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service skills with customers, colleagues and other staff.
  • Understanding of marketing principles used to develop campaigns.
  • Demonstrate good levels of English language and writing with basic copywriting skills.
  • Good use and understanding of social media for Marketing & communications purposes.
  • Evidence of having worked within environments where equality and diversity are critical and able to show commitment to those principles.
