Creative Support is a busy and dynamic health & social care charity with a track record in providing high quality, person centred support services in over 70 Local Authorities.
We are seeking a talented and highly committed individual to join our busy Tendering Team.
As a Bid Writer you will develop, write and lead the submission of bids and proposals, create tender presentations, and be collaborative in proofing/editing your colleagues' work. You will contribute to the development of new services, systems and innovative models of delivery as part of writing submissions. You will attend relevant events/briefings, and may also attend interviews and/or presentations as part of the bid process.
As a more junior member of the team you will lead on your own tenders as well as work on collaborative submissions and receive on the job mentoring. You will need to have 1-2 years' experience in writing bids within the health & social care sector, preferably in a relevant service area such as mental health, learning disability, autism, older people, complex lives & social excluded groups.
You will be able to write creative, aspirational and meaningful submissions which reinforce our person centred approach to supporting vulnerable adults. You must have excellent writing & editing ability, strong analytical skills and knowledge to appraise tender opportunities. You will need to be organised, hard working and flexible as this is a fast paced role.
We are looking for a writer who is passionate about the services we offer and has a genuine drive to create excellent submissions.
Continuous professional development and on the job support will be provided, but you must be able to work independently, willing to work flexibly and be motivated to meet individual/team goals and the changing needs of the organisation.
We are a small, supportive and very busy national team, with a base at our friendly Stockport head office. There is scope for partial or full time home working in this role (please detail preference in your application to discuss at interview).
We are a passionate, inclusive and anti-racist organisation. We embrace diversity and encourage applicants from all backgrounds and cultures. As a Disability Confident Employer we welcome applications from people with a disability and as a proud Stonewall Diversity Champion we actively encourage applications from the LGBT+ community.
Stage 1 Interviews will be held the week commencing 21 June 2021.
