Account Manager: Engineering and Motor Vehicle

Full time (37hrs per week all year round), Permanent

Salary; GBP27,663 per annum

Location; Rotherham College, Rotherham and North Notts College, Worksop (with travel if applicable)

The Role

The RNN Group is one of the biggest providers of apprenticeships and training in North Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire. As we embark on the next stage of our ambitious plans we are seeking a motivated skills consultant to understand the complex needs of our engineering and motor vehicle employers and help provide them with innovative solutions in line with our funding streams.

Skills consultants thrive on building relationships with employers and helping to promote the Group's offer whilst ensuring our full-time learners have a clear route to the world of work by sourcing apprenticeship placements for them. You will be tenacious and motivated with the ability to quickly build rapport with clients on all levels.

As a key part of our business development team you must be able to promote our offer to employers and become their trusted advisor for skills development. You will champion local regeneration through engagement with local businesses and support progression for existing staff along with new apprentices seeking their first job.

Have you got what it takes?

You will have experience of working in a dynamic sales environment, focussing on goals and targets and meeting client expectations.

You will have a strong industry knowledge linked to area of responsibility (engineering and motor vehicle) and understand apprenticeship frameworks or standards.
