Our client, a global IT Solutions business, is hiring a Junior Loss Prevention Analyst for their European headquarters located in Weybridge, Surrey.
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
• The Loss Prevention Analyst will monitor the Digital E-Commerce and MPOS platforms to identify, capture and action potential losses to the business due to fraud as well as assisting in growing its capability and capacity by introduction of new ways of working, expertise, coaching, and implementation of effective monitoring tools.
• The Loss Prevention Analyst should be providing a single point of contact for queries regarding Loss Prevention, allowing staff in different teams to quickly separate legitimate queries from fraudulent ones, and to use process inovation in order to help minmise losses being incurred
• This role should be available to work evening time(6pm to 10pm) and weekend day time(Sat, Sun) base on British time
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Perform day-to-day monitoring or transactions within the Digital platform Ecommerce platforms , EPOS and Supply Chain solutions to identify potential fraud cases
• Working alongside key business stakeholders to understand business requirements and propose business process improvements, in order to achieve delivery of enhancements to meet those needs.
• Manage / execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new functionality developed in response to Loss Prevention requirements, coordinate all stakeholder groups to complete UAT, including capturing and prioritizing defects for development teams.
• Devleop strategies to log, debug, prioritise and deliver solutions related to business needs.
• Implement early warning systems to identify new types of suspect behaviour and adapt business processes to allow them to be actioned at the easliest possible stage.
• Procative monitoring of order flows, including out of hours, to ensure that potential risks are addressed in a timely mannor.
• Devleop clear communication channels with stakeholders to ensure that they are kept informed, and that all routes of entry are closed to customers identified as acting in a fraudulent manner
EDUCATION:
• Educated to degree level or equivalent
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
Essential:
• Understanding of behavioural or pattern analysis, Loss Prevention in a retail, manufacturing or finanical context
• Working knowledge of SQL
• Knowledge of the MS Office suite (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Very strong relationship building and influencing skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in requirement gathering and proposal write-ups
• Analytical thinking with the ability to pick up new ideas and subject matter quickly
Advantage
• Detailed functional knowledge of all major business processes in the sales and manufacturing industry
• Strong knowledge and experience of relevant platforms (E-commerce, Order Management system, ERP and MPOS platforms)
• Excellent knowledge of web platforms and systems integration
• Knowledge of machine learning tools, AI programming
EXPERIENCE:
Essential:
• 1+ years or equivalent of Data Analytics or Loss Prevention experience
Advantage:
• Effective backlog management with minimal bugs/issues over 7 days outstanding
• A best in class business process support team member proactively driving business innovation and process improvements
HOURS OF WORK:
37.5-hour week. Evening and weekend work will be required for ongoing monitoring of suspected fraud orders
