To act as Project Support Officer for the Clinical System Implementation programme in delivering a new clinical information system.

This role of Project Support Officer is to work alongside the Clinical Systems Programme Manager and implementation programme team to assist in programme delivery.

Be the first point of contact for Stakeholders, logging and responding to queries where appropriate and escalating and tracking where necessary

Provide project administrative support by maintaining the document library and associated papers, reports, presentations and risk logs and communicating progress to a range of stakeholders

* Be the first point of contact for Stakeholders, logging and responding to queries where appropriate and escalating and tracking where necessary

* Contribute to the development of a Communications Strategy surrounding the deliverables of the project or work streams and ensure that all key stakeholders kept up to date with project progress

* Communicate information to stakeholders about project status, considering that the messages may change as the project develops

* Prepare project documentation and reports as directed by the Senior Project Manager and appointed Project Assurance roles for submission to Project Board and stakeholders

* Assist with the development of and be responsible for the implementation of project work streams making use of specialist tools where required, (such as MS Project and or Gantt Charts) seeking support and advice where required and monitor progress against these

* Administer and monitor project Risks and Issues as directed by the Senior Project Manager, determine the best course of action where there may be a range of solutions available

* Take responsibility for progress and use of resources and initiate corrective action where necessary as delegated by the Senior Project Manager

* Administer and monitor the project budget, reporting on progress as required

* Under guidance from the Senior Project Manager, liaise with senior officers and strategic partners, ensuring any issues raised are resolved or directed to the most appropriate resource

* Carry out general administration tasks including meeting minutes.

* Follow change control and any required configuration management processes for documentation.

* Ensure that all project documentation is completed and kept up to date, developing local protocols or procedures to benefit the project where required, within established policies

* Support the Registration Authority (RA) process for the creation and administration of Smartcards essential for application access

* Maintain and administer the Programme Product Libraries

Hours of work will be 37.5 hours a week (Monday to Friday 9am-5pm)
