Office Manager

Here at Watkin Jones, we are now looking for a Workplace Experience Manager who will focus on creating and providing a first-class experience for staff and visitors at our Group office in Chester.

Whilst the role includes front-of-house duties and administrative functions, this is much more than an Office Manager post. You'll build relationships with local businesses, suppliers and other partners and seek out opportunities and implement initiatives and activities that help to make a visit to the Chester office memorable, productive and focused. As Workplace Experience Manager, you will present the professional face of Watkin Jones Group, welcoming guests and providing information and guidance to make their visit run smoothly whilst maintaining health, safety and security protocols.

About You

This role requires a range of skills and strengths from creativity, time management, planning, administration and record keeping to people-focussed skills such as customer service, communication, relationship building and creativity. You'll need to be comfortable working with MS Office applications and have knowledge of the local area to include travel, transport and accommodation. You'll need to be able to build and maintain a network of contacts through regular and frequent communications and professional engagements, and be able to manage your own time, balancing competing priorities to ensure that projects and outcomes are delivered on time.

Experience of an office management, front-of-house or social media/communications role is desirable, as is experience of leading on employee wellbeing activities. A Business Administration qualification is also desirable, however, this is not essential.
