We are passionate about potatoes. But we're even more passionate about our People!

We know the importance that food plays in people's lives - celebrating real connections through delicious planet-friendly food. We believe that working together with our teams, business and community partners will bring sustainable growth and positive change - today, tomorrow and for generations to come.

Are you the top of the crop?

Dust down your wellies, we're looking for a Crop Management Technician to come and join our passionate and potato loving team!

Let's keep it simple - a Crop Management Technician is someone who works with our Regional Agriculture teams to sample potato crops in both the field and stores. Your main job is to pick the potato crop samples, and deliver accurate intelligence and insight to our internal and external stakeholders.

If you don't like getting dirty, then this job isn't for you. It's a hands on role with some days spend out in the field at farms (come wind rain or shine) digging for samples, measuring the area of potato fields, and meeting our growers. You'd also spend time in our sample lab conducting fry testing's, organising our potato samples and conducting yield assessments to help the schedulers plan when the crop will be available to harvest.

Although we're not looking for hands on experience, you must have a passion for agriculture. You will be confident working both on your own (sometimes you'll be working alone in our lab!) and within a team. This role can sometimes be physically demanding, so it's important you are comfortable working from height in quite challenging weather at times.

Due to the nature of this role, we'll also need you to have a full clean UK Driving Licence to get from our growers to our lab and we'll provide you a suitable vehicle to use for the role during business hours.

Although we do encourage you to taste the goods you'll be pleased to know we don't pay you in chips. For working hard, you'll also get a great salary and some pretty good benefits including an excellent pension, achievable bonus, health care options; and of course a great environment to learn and develop.

Please note: this is a role based in and around Norfolk and Lincolnshire with our lab based in Swaffham, Norfolk. Therefore, it's essential you are able here regularly.
