Operations Manager

EAF Group LTD is a farming-based business with a diverse range of activities.

• FARMING - Growing 250 ha of grass for our range of animal products.
• GRASS PROCESSING - Packing haylage and hay into retail size packs for wholesale distribution
• STRAW PROCESSING - A fully automated plant producing straw-based animal feed and bedding products.
• WHOLESALE ANIMAL FEEDS - The wholesale distribution of our own products and those of other manufacturers throughout East Anglia, the South East and the Home Counties

The business has a continuing unsatisfied appetite to expand through further growth of the existing business, recognising and responding to any new opportunities that may arise.

We are seeking a hardworking, driven, and ambitious individual, who is looking for an exciting diverse and often challenging role. They should have a proven track record of success in running and motivating a team whilst ensuring the operations are carried out in a tidy, safe, efficient manner. The need of identifying and reacting to new opportunities as and when they arise. The role will include but not be exhaustive of:

Daily management of the operation and staff in the grass packing plant, straw processing plant and wholesale warehouse, achieving maximum efficiency from staff and machines.

Instruct and oversee the farming activities for grass production.

Have regular meetings with the sales director and managing director Investigate new opportunities and liaise with the directors.
