Owing to the ongoing growth of our business, we are currently seeking a talented Digital Projects Delivery Lead to join us on a full time, permanent basis.
About the Digital Projects Delivery Lead role:
This is a pivotal role within our team, working closely with our clients and our creative & technical teams to facilitate the successful delivery of high quality, bespoke website projects.
The role represents a broad and exciting opportunity for an experienced digital project manager who is looking for a fresh challenge.
As our Digital Projects Delivery Lead you will be responsible for:
- Working closely with our clients & internal creative / technical teams to facilitate successful project delivery within agreed parameters.
- Ensuring effective handover from business development to the project delivery team and that the project process is followed.
- Leading project initiation ensuring expectations, responsibilities and scope are clear and defined for all parties.
- Assisting in the management of risks, issues, scope and any change requests that may arise during the project lifecycle.
- Taking a proactive approach to risk management, identifying potential risks early and agreeing effective approaches to mitigate them.
- Ensuring project documents including plans are created to a high standard, approved, updated when necessary and shared with relevant stakeholders.
- Providing ongoing proactive communication and reporting to clients on a regular basis.
- Facilitating a smooth transition to an ongoing client relationship and ensuring any lessons learned are captured and acted upon through project retrospectives and process enhancements.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of our project delivery process and associated reporting, making good use of our suite of enabling tools including Smartsheets, JIRA and Harvest.
Aboutyou:
As an experienced Digital Projects Manager, PMO or Client Services Lead, you'll have an appreciation of the bigger picture and will use your skills and experience proactively, mitigating risks to assure delivery of agreed solutions within agreed timeframe and budget.
You will have experience of both agile and waterfall delivery approaches, recognising their relative strengths.
You'll be a team player, an excellent communicator, and you'll have impeccable planning, analysis and organisational skills. Moreover, you'll be focussed on delivering consistently high levels of client service as part of our project delivery process.
Requirements for the role:
- A minimum 5 years digital project management delivering software application and / or web site projects.
- A minimum 3 years in a client-facing delivery or client services role.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent project planning, reporting, analysis and documentation skills with a real eye for detail.
- A high level of digital literacy and commercial awareness.
- A thorough understanding of a project's lifecycle and the key activities and potential pitfalls typically associated with systems implementation projects is essential. Experience of e-commerce projects is preferred.
- A project management qualification (PRINCE 2, PMP or equivalent) along with experience of JIRA and Smartsheets software would also be advantageous.

- The role will be based from our Chichester office, with some flexibility to work from home and will involve occasional travel for client and internal meetings when safe to do so.
Owing to Covid 19, the majority of our team are working from home currently.
Depending on timing, the successful candidate for this role may be onboarded remotely and work from home full time initially, though the expectation is that they will start working from our Chichester office at least 3 days a week, when conditions allow for a safe return.
