Are you a Facilities & Property Manager with retail or hospitality experience looking for a new challenge?

Would you like to work with a Dynamic Non-Profit Organisation, with a true opportunity to impact and put your stamp on this role?

Reporting to the Head of Property we are recruiting a Facilities Manager to be oversee all matters relating to facilities including our two Head offices, Warehouse, fifty six retail outlets and four Operations bases across the UK. This role will also be heavily involved in ensuring new sites are fit for purpose to hand over to the relevant teams.

Responsibilities Include:

* Providing strategic and management support to our property portfolio with in TAAS.

* Review all back office policies/procedures and redesign to meet the needs of our fast paced business and simplify for our stakeholders.

* Complete a full review of our contractors and create a PSL which can cater for our needs geographically and is cost effective for the organisation.

* Project Management of any facilities involvement of any new store openings within our retail function (circa 5 per year) This will include all contractor engagement, liaison and ongoing management ensuring the site is fit to hand over to our Retail teams.

* Ensuring refit project are delivered on time, in budget and that progress is communicated effectively to the project lead.

* Providing facilities management support to our retail portfolio creating structure, processes and escalation procedures that minimise impact on our stores.

* Management of a facilities technician and Team Admin to deliver all the tactical requirements of the function

* The effective management, monitoring and control of all Health and Safety responsibilities relevant to the role, including the management of asbestos and legionella

* Being the key stakeholder for the department leads in relation to facilities Management

* Approve utilities invoices and work through queries - looking at ways to reduce outgoings and reduce the organisations carbon footprint

* Ad-hoc projects which could include but limited to office refurbs, potential site viewings and analysis.

Experience

* Effectively manage multiple sites and remotely when required.

* An understanding of how buildings are constructed and of technical issues which may arise.

* Form key relationships internally and externally with contractors and suppliers and will have managed these relationships previously.

* You will not be afraid to tackle problems head on, managing both internal and external expectations.

* You will be organised and astute and want to constantly improve the efficient running of our sites
