Multi-Trade Operative
Nelson Permanent Placements are currently working with a leading building services business based in Derbyshire. Due to growth, they are looking to hire a multi-trade operative on a full time, permanent basis. Ideally as a multi-trade operative you will have social housing experience.
* Rate GBP13.50ph - GBP15ph
* 28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
* 1 additional holiday day per year following 2 years consecutive service
* Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
* 40 hour week
* 8 hour shift
* Van, fuel card, uniform
As a multi-trade operative, your role will involve:
* Repairs
* Joinery
* Plumbing
* Plaster patching
* Completing a variety of trade works to bring the property back to a lettable standard
As a Multi-trade operative we require you to have:
* The ability to work effectively as part of a multi disciplinary team, flexible in approach, supports others, and uses skills to achieve maximum contribution.
* Able to work without supervision
* Understanding of efficiency and value for money.
* Excellent knowledge of building technology, maintenance and refurbishment work in public sector housing.
* Customer Service
* Excellent Quality of works
* Site Safety and Safe working practice
* Problem solving and prioritising work load
* Full UK Driving Licence
* You will need a CSCS card
* City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent as a trades person
