Looking for work in a SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school in Bath, then look no further!

Position: Full-time Secondary Teaching Assistant

Location: Bath

Salary: GBP66.30 to GBP70 per day (paid on a weekly basis, dependant on experience)

Required for: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm, starting immediately!

Suitable for: graduates, teaching assistants, higher level teaching assistants

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a Secondary PRU in Bath and are looking for teaching assistants to support their team on a full-time basis. The school is the Local Authority Alternative Provision for young people who have been excluded from mainstream education. Students join the school throughout the academic year, at various stages of their secondary educational journey. They are referred for a number of reasons ranging from behaviour, to specific educational needs that cannot always be met in a mainstream setting. This post will involve working with children between the ages of 11 and 16 and teaching experience is desired, preferably with children with special educational needs. At this time of year, there is also a high demand for day-to-day teaching assistants, so if you are available then please do get in touch.

In order to be considered:
- SEN experience - working with children/ young adults
- Passion for education, particularly with vulnerable students
- Proof of right to work in the UK
- Provide 2 references
- Willing to complete a DBS or have a DBS which is already on the update service

In return:
- 66.30 to GBP70 per day, depending on experience
