TRANSPORT SUPERVISOR / TRAFFIC CONTROLLER ROLE WITH WASTE MANAGEMENT, RECYCLING AND AGGREGATES COMPANY
TITLE: Transport Supervisor / Traffic Controller - Waste Management & Recycling
My client now has an excellent opportunity for a skilled Transport Planner / Traffic Controller / Coordinator / Supervisor to join their team. Waste Management and Construction Recycling industry, now is an excellent time to join their busy depot as part of a critical team within the business.
SALARY: GBP25,000 - GBP35,000 depending on experience plus pension
REGION: You will be considered from the following areas: Aylesbury , Stoke Mandeville, Wendover, and the surrounding area
You will have worked in a Transport, Waste Management, Recycling, Aggregates, Tippers, Muckaway, Skip Hire, Plant Hire, Demolition, Building Supplies or Construction, Haulage, Distribution, Logistics, Traffic, Bulk Drop - Offs, Bulk Carrier, Dispatch or similar environment in your past roles.
You may have been a Transport Supervisor, Traffic Controller, Depot Team Leader, Transport Planner, Depot Team Leader, Logistics Controller, Traffic Coordinator, Dispatcher.
ROLE: Transport Supervisor / Traffic Controller - Waste Management & Recycling
You will be responsible taking orders from incoming calls and planning routes and general transport duties
You will provide work instructions and monitor the performance of drivers i.e. briefing/debriefing during the course of working day.
EXPERIENCE: Planner: Waste Management & Construction Recycling
You will have excellent planning skills and a good working knowledge of Aylesbury and the local surrounding areas.
You will be extremely committed and be able to demonstrate stability in previous roles.
Good communication and organisation skills are a must for this position.
No qualifications are required for the role but a CPC is desirable
