Are you a qualified teaching assistant or LSA looking for a brand new, rewarding opportunity? Do you have experience working with children who have complex, special education needs? If so, Simply Education have an excellent opportunity for you.
Simply Education are working alongside a Special Education Needs school near Romford and Dagenham to find a teacher to cover a range of different subjects.
The school caters for children with severe and complex neds including ASD, SEMH (Social, Emotional, Mental Health) and trauma of various kinds. They are looking for an individual who can provide excellent support and a nurturing environment to allow them to flourish.
Successful candidates will work 5 days a week teaching a range of different subjects to children aged 11-16 including Maths, English, Science, PSHE and others. The school are happy to consider both experienced teachers and newly qualified teachers, however, some experience of working with SEN children is preferred.
We are looking for someone who:
•Has recent experience teacher or working with SEN children.
•Has excellent behaviour management skills.
•Has excellent knowledge of British National Curriculum.
•Can promote cultural development.
•Has great communication and lesson delivery skills.
•Can prepare and plan lessons in advance.
•Is willing to learn.
