Acorn Recruitment is searching for a Production Operator with technical knowledge to join our client, a manufacturing company based in Thrapsten, Kettering.
Based on the client site, the purpose of the role is to support ink production and provide onsite technical support.
Duties will include:
- Dispensing ink in line with the daily production plans.
- Moving product to and from machines if applicable.
- Booking back press returns into the dispense management system. Place press returns in
clearly marked locations.
- Cluster press returns into common running colours.
- Placing a weekly material order using the order form provided.
- Filing all delivery notes for month end consignment stock count.
- Booking new deliveries into the dispense management system.
- Replenishing material stocks on dispense management system.
- Arranging uplift of any empty containers or waste ink, ensuring containers are safely palletized and lids are secured.
- Ensuring ink area complies with customers hygiene accreditation.
- Supporting on-site colour correction and basic trouble shooting on press.
The successful applicant must have good colour vision and an eye for detail. Must have excellent communication skills and be able to perform daily duties without direct supervision.
Hours of work are Monday - Friday, 7am - 3pm / 10am - 6pm rotating weekly.
Salary - GBP23000pa
