Teaching Personnel are seeking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant to work in an Ofsted rated 'good' school in the Redland area, Bristol. The school is two-form entry and is looking to recruit a teaching assistant who specialises in Numeracy intervention programmes.
The role is full time from September 2021 for the academic year 2021/2022. The school are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to work with pupils who struggle with Maths. Ideally, the successful candidate will have previous experience of using intervention programmes and will be NVQ Level 3 qualified or the equivalent. However, without this qualification the right experience will still be considered.
This role with be flexible and you may find you are working within a few different roles so the ideal candidate will need to be adaptable as you will be working 1:1 and in small groups with a number of students who require additional support with numeracy. Experience with the KS1 and KS2 curriculum specifically with Numeracy is ideal however not necessary, you will be supporting children who have fallen behind expected levels as well as working with the high achieving students.
