The Role

The MIB team will deliver a robust quality claims handling service to Minster Law clients and contribute to the general success of the Legal Services Division.

To deliver robust quality claims handling, with a key focus on client outcomes for Minster Law clients, to generate fee income and contribute to the general success of the business. You will manage a mixed caseload of MIB Untraced and MIB Uninsured Fast Track cases. The Uninsured cases will be a mixture of pre litigation and part 7 post litigation files. All cases in the portfolio will be valued between GBP1,000 and GBP25,000. You will also see complex, unusual injuries and client complaint files within team.

Person Specification

You will have experience dealing with cases valued between GBP1000 and GBP25,000 and a high level of influencing skills both orally and in writing. A good working knowledge of the Solicitors Code of Conduct is essential and you will be accountable for achieving objectives in a fast paced environment whilst maintaining high standards of work quality and outstanding client care. We are looking for excellent negotiators with strong communication skills, good attention to detail and time management. You should be competent working with a case management system and good knowledge of Excel and Word.

Salary

GBP21,344.80 - GBP26,681.00 per annum.
