Plant Mechanic / Plant Fitter

Plant Fitter required. Bennett and Game are currently working with one of the UK's largest and most successful Surface & Highways Company to source a skilled and proven Plant / HGV Fitter for their Birmingham location.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proven and experienced Plant Fitter to join one of the UK's largest specialist Highways firms on a full-time permanent basis in a mobile role.

Our client work in multiple sectors with complete UK wide coverage. Throughout the Covid pandemic our client have won and extended major contracts. Due to this they now require skilled staff in their Birmingham location.

Plant Fitter Position Overview

Within this role you will manage and maintain the companies mixed and specialist fleet. You will cover complete HGV Fitting duties including servicing, break testing, MOT's, repairs, welding & fabrication work.

You will receive specialist on the job training and be rewarded with excellent pay and additional benefits.

HGV / Plant Fitter Position Requirements

Proven HGV/Plant Engineering experience
Relevant Engineering qualifications - Essential
Experience working on Plant & Specialist machinery
Clean UK driving licence - Essential (mobile role) - Van included.
Experience in Servicing & MOT's of HGV vehicles
Flexible working approach - Essential

HGV / Plant Fitter Position Remuneration

Salary DOE - GBP17 - 22 per hr
Monday - Friday (flexible working hours to suit you)
Company van included
29 days holiday
Paid over-time available (Saturday x1.5 & Sunday x2)
