Senior Civil Engineer - North Wales
Our clients are an independent multi-disciplinary engineering and environmental consultancy providing a wide range of services across all stages of infrastructure schemes throughout the UK. Due to an increasing workload, they are currently looking to recruit a Senior Civil Engineer to join their Infrastructure Design Team based in North Wales.
Responsibilities to include:
- Undertaking engineering design and project management for a range of civil infrastructure projects involving highways and drainage
- Liaising with Local Authorities and Drainage bodies; preparing and making Section 38/278/106 applications
- Provision of design and reporting within a multi-disciplinary office environment
- Management and development of client relationships
- Commercial delivery of projects ensuring timeframes and budgets are met
- Collaborative working with other offices
- Mentoring junior members of staff
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience in Construction or Engineering consultancy
- Chartered status or working towards Chartership
- Design experience in roads and drainage
- Experience in the use of MicroDrainage and AutoCAD is essential, experience if Civil 3D is preferred
- Experience of the design of SuDs is essential
- Experience undertaking FRAs/FCAs including flood modelling
- Experience in managing design teams
- Experienced in producing technical reports
- Ability to manage own time working on multiple projects at once

- Circa GBP35,000 - GBP50,000 salary DOE
