The Company
Our client is an Ambitious, Award-winning Consultancy providing support and advice to a range of clients delivering large scale complex infrastructure and building projects. They are currently seeking an experienced Safety Verification Engineer to join their team based in Edinburgh. Applications are also welcome from people based in other UK locations.
The Opportunity
This is a busy and challenging but rewarding role for an experienced Safety Verification Engineer. You will be joining a well-established, respected team of professionals in a supportive and progressive working environment.
The role will involve working with delivery teams, customers, regulatory bodies and other major stakeholders. You will be involved in managing resources and delivery of tasks. This role will require excellent communication and relationship-building skills and a demonstrable track record of Rail Safety expertise.
You will be a Chartered Engineer (or equivalent) and a Rail Safety Expert with a strong track record of success in working with delivery teams, customers, regulatory bodies and other major stakeholders. You will also have the following skills and expertise:
* A demonstrable track record of working in Safety in the RAIL industry (essential)
* Demonstrable managerial capability with accountability for resources and task delivery.
* Experience of Safety Verification
* Common safety method/CSM RA
* Safety validation
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong influencing and relationship-building skills
